I pile on the bird seed to five feeders. Every other day I fill the bath in front. They love it here. currently we’re seeing the red-breasted nuthatch, Black-capped chickadee, dark-eyed junco, steller’s jay, and the Northern flicker. The flicker appears about the same time every day, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., very regular.
I poked my head out to the front yard and caught a black-capped chickadee and the dark eyed junco. the junco is comfortable at the feeder or foraging on the ground. We missed this bird over summer and we’re glad to see it back.

I’ve hinted that I’ve been in the dog house with ebay. The hole I fell into is called “below average seller.” this is a situation you fall into if you’ve cancelled to many orders or have unresolved issues with customers. in any case, it’s bad. They shove your listings down at the bottom on search results, don’t allow you to promote, and charge more in fees. Your sales go from great to zero overnight. To get out of this hole you have to sell, sell, in order to swing the ratio in our favor. The ratio being cancellations to number of transactions. The more the transactions the cancellations have less impact. I didn’t know this was a thing. I’ve been with ebay since 2002 and never cared about my performance status. I’m usually a top rated seller. But I tried cross-listing to etsy. someone will by the product on etsy then go immediately to ebay to buy there also. But I wouldn’t have the item because I sold it to them on etsy. This happens so fast you can’t stop it. They buy from one and then the other. I racked up a few cancellations of orders and fell “below standard.”
If they did the calculation now I’d be back to above standard. That won’t take effect until november 20th. they reevaluate on the 20th of the month. I’ll be back to above average. No more cross listing. I will dedicate certain products to ebay and certain ones to other markets. Or just stick with ebay.
