On the weekend we try to hit garage sales as we see signs. Sometimes we go online and see what garage sales and estate sales are listed on craigslist and Estatesales.net. When we stumble across one versus it being advertised online, we tend to strike something unique. Sellers are eager to make deals or their items haven’t been picked off already. I picked up this Sony 5-Disk CD player for a buck or two, Five max. I tested it with headphones and it sounded great and operated beautifully. but how to test the audio out? I have no external speakers and a TV/Monitor did not work do to electronic conflict. About two weeks went by and I picked up some external speakers for $3. They were tested at the garage sale and I brought them home and plugged them into the sony. Beautiful music emerged. Only then could I list the CD player and claim that it has been tested and works. It sold today. I listed it for $99 and then sent out an offer for $74.99. Offers are an Ebay way of encouraging a sale. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I can name a lower price or set a percentage off like 10% or more. I set the price and apparently the right one. Below is the unit as pictured on ebay and the photo below is the packaging. I took my time like an artist painting a masterpiece. We don’t want breakage.

We did three healthcare visits in shoreline and ballard avoiding an I405 closure. Family drama prevented chasing down garage sales. We were back home by 12:30 p.m. where MB prepared us lunch. Today, uncertain drama was replaced by peace. Thank God.
