With summer waning and fall waxing the days are mild and pleasant. This morning I watched a line of traffic crawl up and across the overpass. A trip I’ve taken many times. But they’re up there in traffic and I’m enjoying a power walk. There’s really no contrast; they’re off to work and thinking about the day ahead and how to Maneuver the clogged freeway. I have as many thoughts though mine may be more whimsical. When you walk and listen to music you’re a daydreamer. Those folk up there are heros and the busy freeways mean the economy is humming. Traffic jams are a good sign. I’ve seen empty freeways before. You want the economy to bustle.
Starting my walk this morning I stopped and look out at the turn of the river with trees on either side. The river is wide and who’d know this scene is within a block from a city of 50,000. This morning i looked to see a stand up paddle board rider fly fishing. I snapped the photo below.

I’m working to clean up the shop and took several boxes of paper to the shed. The paper is wrapping paper ideal for shipping. The boxes are packed solid with this paper. Saves me a fortune. The boxes were in the way so I made room in the shed.

While I was at the shed I counted how many monkey puzzle trees are growing in pots. I counted 32.

I only listed seven items on ebay and etsy. Last weekend I picked up several publications from CBS and a program with carol burnett on the cover. apparently she was awarded the Jack Benny memorial award for her support of the march of dimes. In the program was a letter from jane wyatt. Her signature appears to be a copy. I set the price at $200.
