Abstract Today; E Scooter repair, Snohomish sale and thrift stores, Pop up yard sale, Shelf project in place, tomatoes appear

E scooters break down on Occasion. It could be the tire goes flat. Now what do you do? We replace tube tires with solid tires. Doing that work takes patience and a lot of finesse. These solid wheels aren’t easy to get on the rim and then back on the frame of the scooter. The tire went flat from guess what? A staple. can you believe that? a staple. We did the job then found out that something bent in the process and the disk brake rubs badly. MB, who rides it to work decided enough was enough and ordered himself another E Scooter.

I watched some Youtube videos and I believe I have a shot at correcting the problem. If the disk is bent than game over.

Snohomish Yard sale no-show

Afterwards Michele wanted to check out a yard sale in Snohomish that starts at 11:00 a.m. We were early and wandered the rural home but no one ever came out of the house. I had books in hand and an interest in some electronics. I rang the bell, knocked on the door, saw a light on, and heard a dog. But no one came out. We left.

On the way home we came across a gentleman having his own popup yard sale. I bought many repair books for $10. One alone is worth that and I probably got 20 books. Nice guy whose wife just passed. She was bending over the bedside looking in her purse and fell over. Heart stopped. The son tried to Resuscitate her and when the ambulance came the EMTs did the same. He decided to pray and pray he did. Her heart had stopped for about 20 minutes. When he was done praying and said amen, they heard a heartbeat. That was a blessing to someone because she was an organ donor and they needed her heart to be beating for the organ donation to occur. She spent two weeks on the hospital but never gained consciousness. Nice guy.

Shelving project completed

I moved the painted shelving unit into place in the garage. it remains empty, but that’s ok.

Green tomatoes on the plant on the steps

Michele spotted tomatoes growing on the plant on the front steps. Its green. It gets direct sun and apparently has the energy to produce tomatoes. They’re green. Will they turned to red? That is the question.
