On the weekends I drive the wife around to do healthcare visits to assisted living facilities and homes wherever the sickly reside. Today we were in Issaquah at the Swedish Hospital for a visit. Afterwards we did two Bellevue visits then headed home.

GARAGE SALE

Ofcourse, once the job was done and we were free we got it into our heads to do one more garage sale. We chased one down near Lynnwood. It didn’t bode well when i saw a truck at their home. The truck picked up junk. the two young men said that picking up junk was the family business. I picked up two DVD players and a large old electronic receiver for $5. I also picked up a Zoleo for $2. This Zoleo thing caught me eye as something I’ve seen hikers use. It allows for communication when there is no cell service. Handy if you want to tell people your location or to say you’re ok. Worse case, you can call SOS with the thing. After charging it for several hours I’ve come to the conclusion the thing is dead. Great. Now I’m wondering about the DVDs. they warned me.

TWO CALCULATORS NOT THREE

Often when you list on Ebay you take someone’s listing and use it for yours. Since they did the initial filling out and answering the quesstions, you just re-edit to fit your product. It’s encouraged by Ebay. When i’m logged in as a seller and I’m looking at a listing, there is a place to “Sell One Similar.” So I did that for two calculators. These are high demand Texas Instruments scientific calculators, the TI-83 and the better TI-84. I put two on one listing. Unfortunately the listing I used to edit had 3 calculators in the title. when I published the listing, i didn’t change the “3” to “2”. After all, I only had two calculators not three. Within an hour I made a sale and packed those puppies. Then realized my mistake and had to cancel the order. At the moment I cancelled the order, Ebay relisted it. I got a second order and had to cancel it. Finally, once that cancellation was completed and the calculators got relisted I quickly revised the listing to “2.” And that’s where it remains. The two calculators are waiting in the box. It would be a miracle if I kept my top Rated Seller status.
