Listed a postcard on ebay today of the Watch Man and his “worlds largest watch store!” He sold the watch business years ago. His name is Ray Lindstrom and he wrote a book called, “Feerless: Confessions of a serial entreprenuer.” I enjoyed the book very much. He was a character. I remember the commercials for these art paintings being sold from city to city with prices slashed. they were supposed to be painted by real artists. Turned out they were mass produced in Korea. He got in on the 900 phone number business. The book ends with watches. If I remember, and I hope i’m not wrong. But I believe the most interesting storyline in the book was his battle with alcohol. He drank it once, enjoyed it, then spent the next 40 years or so drinking to find the enjoyment of that first time. It never came. He went through some personal trials. My kind of man. My kind of story. I put the postcard at $9.99.
