The 10-day forecast calls for sunshine. Finally, many of those who waited for the last frost can breathe a sigh of relief and hit the garden. Temps are still low in the mornings. I can’t imagine a frost after such gorgeous days. Some wait until June to plant. they say we have a short growing season and that’s very true at least on the west (wet) side of the cascades. The doldrums of summer will arrive and then the fall. And that’s it. For nine months we may not have weather conducive to gardening, either from cold or rain with overcast skies. That hasn’t been the case for the last year or so, but sometimes fall blends with winter and winter blends with spring meaning it’s kinda chilly. For now spring is here and there is a gentle breeze accompanying a sunny day.
