Daily abstract April 7, 2026. The Moffat Road Brochure

Picture perfect weather though slighly cool with temps between mid-40s and low 50s. Spent most of the day indoors tossing out old papers and listing on ebay.

It amazes me some of the paperwork i’ve kept for decades. For example, the paperwork from 1994/5 where I purchased a business and rented a retail suite in a strip mall.

Also, over many years of travel I’ve kept every brochure, map, booklet, and pamphlet picked up at visitors centers, gas stations, and chambers of commerce.

Here’s a 19 page pamphlet about a 35.7 mile driving tour of the Moffat Road in Colorado. The pamphlet show place markers for certain landmarks and describes them as related to the old railroad. I picked this up decades ago, probably sometime in the 1990s.

This Moffat road pamphlet has stayed with me for decades. I have it on ebay for $12.50.
