The pot is mine, but I don’t remember planting this brooklime. Plants that do well are left alone, this one I’ve paid almost no attention to. Now that it’s November and temperatures are dropping, I thought I’d bring it indoors, but there was no need. These plants can take the cold and this one has and thrived. It wants to spread and creep. It acts like a ground cover.
Currently in the pot, it may go in the ground as a ground cover. If it was Veronica Americana, I wouldn’t hesitate. But it’s not local though not necessarily invasive either though it has the potential. I’d hate to plant it and find out that it harms the local ecology. Looking at many pictures, it does appear to be European Brooklime. I reluctantly will not propagate.
